Rules and Regulations

QUIET HOURS: 11:00 pm. to 7:00 am. This is a family-oriented park. Please show courtesy to all our guests as noises from a site can create a disturbance or interfere with other guests’ enjoyment.

 

SPEED LIMIT: The speed limit is 10 mph throughout the park.

 

CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT: Check-in is between 2pm-6pm. Check-out is 11am

 

ENTRANCE / EXIT GATE: Do not attempt to tailgate through the gate arms. Automatic gate arms close after each vehicle. Tailgating will result in vehicle damage by the gate arm. Any damage caused to the gate arm could result to up to $3000 in property damage charges to the guest responsible.

 

CAMPSITES:  are limited to one (1) RV or camper, and two (2) accessory vehicles; tents of any kind are not allowed. All vehicles must be parked within the campsite. No parking on the grass. No trailers or boats may be kept on the campsite. Prior approval for an additional vehicle or visitor vehicles may be obtained from the park manager, or their designee. Additional/visitor vehicles, trailers, and car dollies are to be parked in designated parking areas. RVs shall be well maintained and kept in a clean and neat condition. All campsites shall be kept clear and clean of items which prevent efficient maintenance of and direct access to the campsite. Campsites shall be kept clear of any clutter, debris, or litter.   RVs 10 years and older, and at the discretion of the The Park Manager, will not be permitted at the park. RV’s older than 10 years are allowed ONLY at the discretion of The Park Manager. RVs shall not show signs of deterioration, mildew, or damage. Awnings shall not be torn.

 

CAMPSITE ALTERATIONS: Altering, adding to, damaging, or destroying the natural environment of any campsite or the park, or altering or damaging any utility hook-ups, wiring, picnic tables, or any facilities provided at the park is strictly prohibited. Permanent or semi-permanent fixtures including, but not limited to, sheds, porches, fences, walkways, or similar appurtenances shall not be installed or set up on an overnight/monthly campsite. The following items are prohibited and may not be erected or installed in the park at any time. Prohibited items are tents, tarps, easy-ups, screen rooms, carports, pet or any other fences, clotheslines, offensive drapery/flags, pool, and hot tubs (inflatable or otherwise).

 

PETS :  Domesticated dogs and cats (“pets”), with the exception of pitbulls and without a history of aggressive behavior are authorized on the grounds of the park and shall be leashed at all times. Pets are NOT permitted to be left unattended at any time. Guests are responsible for proper clean-up and disposal of their pet’s waste. Pets are not authorized in the common areas. Routine barking or other disruption by pets is not permitted. No other animals are authorized on the park property.

 

VISITORS: Guests must register their visitors and pay a daily visitor fee. Beach passes are not included with the visitor fee.

 

REFUSE DISPOSAL: Garbage shall be disposed of in the appropriate dumpsters and not on top or beside the dumpsters. Large items such as furniture, mattresses, grills, etc. may not be disposed of at the park and must be removed from the property by the guest. Dumping prohibited objects may be subject to a $500 fine and /or removal from the park.

 

CHILDREN: All children must be at their site by dusk. Children must be under adult supervision after dusk and while going to the washroom. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the whereabouts, actions, and safety of their children at all times. No one under the age of 16 years of age shall be left unsupervised.

 

ALCOHOL: The open consumption of alcoholic beverages is discouraged in the family areas of the park. Where permitted, alcoholic beverages must be kept in a concealed container or in a koozie. Under no circumstances will minors be served or allowed to consume alcoholic beverages at the park as determined by state and local law.

 

SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted in any park-owned buildings, amenities, and bathhouses. Smoking material must be extinguished in an appropriate fire container, not on the ground.

 

MAIL/ DELIVERIES: The park is not a permanent residence and therefore does not accept mail/package deliveries. Mail/packages that are shipped to Pear Lake will be returned. Options available to you for receiving mail/packages can include shipping to a UPS Store, a shipping locker ie Amazon, a PO Box at the local USPS or simply forwarding to friends or family.

 

SWIMMING AND SAFETY RULES: Swimming is ONLY permitted in the designated areas and are not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. Swimming is at your own risk. Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by an adult. Any person who does not know how to swim shall not enter the beach area unless wearing a life jacket & accompanied by at least one person who knows how to swim and who can assist a non-swimmer in the event of an emergency. Beach is open at 10am and closes at 5pm. No glass or pets are allowed on the beach.

 

CAMPFIRES:  All campfires must be fully extinguished and cooled with water before retiring for sleep or leaving your site. Campfires may only be made for usage on a campsite and is restricted to camping approved campfire pits or rings. Fire pits are to be kept cleaned out and must be a minimum of 10 feet from an RV or other structure AND NOT PLACED ON THE LINE BETWEEN PEDESTALS as it can melt the electrical wiring. If using charcoal grills, put ashes in the fire ring and NOT on the ground. No burning leaves or garbage of any kind.

FIREWOOD: May be brought into the park by the guest. Firewood is to be stacked in a neat and orderly manner. Cutting of shrubs or trees is not permitted.

 

NOT PERMITTED: All guests must preserve and protect the wooded area around their site. No destruction of wildlife, trees, or other growth is permitted. Also not permitted which may harm the natural beauty of the resort is: painting on rocks or park property, climbing, constructing swings, wrapping rope or wire, tying or leaning anything to or against trees. Additionally, no driving nails or screws, transplanting trees or shrubs, or cutting or picking vegetation.

 

BEHAVIOR: No illegal, destructive, threatening, abusive, or offensive activities/behaviors shall be conducted at any site, nor shall anything be done within the resort which is or could become an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighboring sites

 

FIREARMS: The use, display, and possession of firearms, air arms, paintball guns, fireworks, explosives, weapons, and illegal drugs or substances are strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction.

 

NON-ASSIGNABILITY: The Guest(s) shall not assign, share, grant usage privileges, sublet (including listings such as Airbnb, VRBO, Home Away, etc) or transfer in any manner all or any portion of the site to anyone.

 

FISHING: Fishing is from dawn to dusk on the South side of the Lake and is Catch and Release only. Use only barbless hooks

 

THE PARK ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACTIONS OR SAFETY OF GUESTS AND RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EVICT (WITHOUT REFUND) ANYONE GUILTY OF MISCONDUCT OR FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE PARK POLICIES LISTED AND IN YOUR SITE LICENSE AGREEMENT. THE PARK ALSO ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOUR RV OR ANY PERSONAL BELONGINGS LEFT UNATTENDED ON THESE PREMISES.

 

Failure to comply with any of these Rules and Regulations may result in additional fees charged to the guest’s account or expulsion from the park.

 

CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

 

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call us at 630-553-6323. Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the reservation start date will receive a Refund, minus a $25.00 Cancellation Charge. Fees will be forfeited for all reservations cancelled less than 14 days prior to your arrival date. No refunds on or after arrival and we do not pro-rate monthly rates should you choose to leave early
